How do I set up shipping rates for my store?

Tapstitch offers two ways to handle shipping rates, so you can choose what works best for your store:

Option 1: Automatic shipping profiles (recommended)

This is the fastest, easiest way to get started. Tapstitch automatically assigns the right shipping rates to your products, based on item type and fulfillment method. No manual setup needed.

Option 2: Manual setup (optional)

You can manually configure your own shipping rates if you sell both Tapstitch and non-Tapstitch products, want full control over your shipping setup or prefer to define flat or custom rates.

Platform-specific shipping guides

Set up shipping on your ecommerce platform of choice:

[Shopify] – Use Tapstitch's automatic shipping profile or configure your own.

[Etsy] – Shipping is set at the product level.

[Squarespace] – Shipping settings are managed within your Squarespace admin.

[Wix] – Set up shipping, delivery, and pickup through Wix's shipping panel.

[WooCommerce] – Managed in your WooCommerce store settings. Be sure to whitelist Tapstitch's IP if needed: 47.254.82.144

How do I connect my store to Tapstitch?

Why didn't my order sync?

If an order didn't sync to Tapstitch:

1. Check the sync status

Go to your Tapstitch dashboard:

Orders → Platform Tab → Manage Orders → Synced History → Reason column

2. Resolve the issue

Use our [Order sync guide] to understand what went wrong and how to fix it.

3. Manually resync the order

Once resolved:

Orders → Platform Tab → Manage Orders → Synced History → Sync manually

How do I create a design in Tapstitch?

Use our in-browser Designer to upload artwork, add text, and preview your piece. Once you’re happy, you can publish it to your store or order a sample.

How do I link my Tapstitch design to my store product?

Once your design is complete, link it to your ecommerce platform so it can be sold. This ensures orders sync properly and are ready for fulfillment.
