To protect comfort, fit, and product performance, clothing labels are not available for certain Tapstitch products. This mainly applies to close-fitting activewear and products made from lightweight, stretchy, or performance-focused fabrics.

Why Clothing Labels May Not Be Supported

Some products are designed to sit closely against the skin, such as:

• Leggings
• Sports tops
• Fitted activewear
• Other close-fitting performance garments

Adding a sewn-in clothing label to these products may create friction, stiffness, or pressure against the skin. This could affect the comfort customers expect from activewear, especially during exercise or extended wear. For this reason, Tapstitch may disable clothing label customization for products where a label could negatively affect the wearing experience.

Fabric and Garment Construction

Clothing label availability also depends on the product’s fabric composition and construction. Products made primarily from performance materials—such as polyester, elastane, or similar blends—are often designed to be:

• Lightweight
• Stretchy
• Breathable
• Moisture-wicking
• Close-fitting

Attaching an additional label may interfere with the fabric’s stretch, drape, or comfort. It may also create visible stitching or tension on thinner materials. Therefore, certain products, including some garments made from 100% polyester, may not support custom clothing labels.
