Common Problems
- Do not modify the Variants SKU.Tapstitch associates your product Variants through SKU codes and variant IDs.
- (Shopify only)Do not modify the Vendor / Variants Inventory.
- (Shopify only) Ensure that "Inventory will be stocked at" is set to "ODMPOD".
- (Shopify only) Make sure the Vendor is set to "ODMPOD".
Can Size Names Be Modified?
- You can change between using letters or names for sizing, such as "S" or "Small"
- However, youcannotchange the size identifier; for example, do not change "S" to "M," as this will cause synchronization issues.
- Please note thatWixdoes not support modifying the names of colors or sizes.
Can Color Names Be Modified?
- You can alter the color names but ensure they remain accurate.
- For instance, if you are stocking a dark blue shirt you can call it "Midnight Blue" but do not change the color name from "Blue" to "Black."
Adding or Deleting Variants
- New variants will not be automatically synchronized: If you add new color or size variants in your e-stores backend, they will not automatically be associated with our system's colors and order synchronization will not occur.
- Deleting Variants: Once you delete a variant, the deleted variant will no longer be associated with the system, and the association of the remaining variants will not be affected.
- For example, if you had a Variant "Black; S" and you deleted it, the association will be lost.
- If you re-add a Variant "Black; S," the system will not consider this Variant the original one, and orders for this variant will not be synchronized.
