Through Change, We Stay True — A Message of Confidence from the Tapstitch CEO
June 19, 2025 · Updated

Dear Tapstitch Community,
The world is shifting—but Tapstitch stands firm.
2025 has brought rising costs, shifting trade policies, and a wave of uncertainty. We know how much pressure this puts on small brands and creators trying to grow. But here's the truth: Tapstitch was built for exactly this kind of moment. When others cut back, we step up. When others wait, we build. Because our mission doesn't change with the market—we're here to help you grow, no matter what.
Here's what you need to know:
1. Cross-border fulfillment is stable.
Many of you have asked: will customs delays follow the tariff changes? It's a valid concern. There was a brief disruption in early May, but the latest data shows things have remained steady:
Production: The 2-day ship-out rate rose from 78.93% in March to 90.12% in May.
Shipping: Special line delivery to the U.S. averaged 8.31 days in March, and 8.62 days in May—a slight increase, but still well within the normal range.

2. We're scaling U.S. production to make fulfillment even faster and closer.
In early June, we're moving into a new U.S. facility—over five times larger, with more than 50,000 square feet of space. This means faster turnaround, greater capacity, and a smoother experience for your customers. We're also adding more U.S.-stocked styles in June, with more to follow. Local fulfillment is just getting started.

3. We're upgrading from product to brand.
Your customers don't just want clothes—they want a brand they can trust. That's why we're launching sewn-in labels with no minimums this quarter, so you can put your name where it matters most. Before the end of the year, we'll also roll out custom hang tags and branded packaging—also with zero minimums. This isn't just fulfillment. It's brand building, built in.

4. We're keeping the import fee unchanged through the end of the year.
Tariff costs may rise—but your import fee won't. We've taken on the increase ourselves to shield you from short-term volatility. And if tariffs go down, your import fee may go down too. No surprises. Just a clear commitment, so you can plan with confidence.

Our Mission
We believe clothing is more than what people wear—it's how they show the world who they are. And in the future we believe in, that kind of expression shouldn't belong only to big brands. Tapstitch exists to shift the balance—to give creators, small brands, and individuals the tools to build something real. No high barriers. No gatekeepers. Just the freedom to create, and the power to grow.
Stay bold,
Joe Z.
